Farmhouse Dining Room Table
Dining Room Table
Farmhouse Dining Room Table
Always wanted to build a dining room table. After searching for many years for the perfect dining room table, I've found you either have to pay a fortune or compromise what you want. Built this in about 2 weeks. What better than to have a story about a piece of furniture and the hard work and love you put into making it? Every plank of wood had many imperfections and flaws. Just because pieces of something aren't perfect doesn't mean it can't be something perfect. I've learned you made do with what you have and it's all a matter of your perception. It can be a crooked board or whatever. You can see it for what it is. Things aren't always perfect and what you expect. This table is no different. I made this out of imperfect pieces and put it all together to make something I'm proud of and will cherish and keep for many years. I was taught as a child that you can spend your money on clothes, cars or materialistic things that will eventually get old and be thrown aside like trash. A meal, breaking bread with someone is special. It will always be remembered and be a special moment for you and the people you shared it with. We take for granted so many little things in this world. I wanted something special that I created for these memories. Something that has a story in itself and along with the memories you make with it. Hope you like it as much as I do. This will not be something I get tired of and toss aside while looking for something better. It is what it is, it's mine and I'll always make the best of it as it will for me.
